For Beginner Fencers:
Next Scheduled Group Beginner Start Dates:
Child Beginner (ages 9 – 13): Monday and Wednesday 6:45 pm – 7:45 pm
October 05, 2020 – November 18, 2020 (No Class October 12, November 11)
Youth Beginner (ages 14 – 17): Tuesday, 6:45 pm – 7:45 pm
October 06, 2020 – November 10, 2020
Adult Beginner (ages 18 and up) Thursdays 6:45 pm – 7:45 pm
October 08, 2020 – November 12, 2020
- Please complete the CFC Registration Form (*must be completed by parent/guardian if fencer is under 18 years old*)
- Provide cheque at the CFC Office or pay through the Calgary Fencing Club Online Store.
- Prior to class start obtain an Alberta Fencing CFF Associate Membership; credit card required to purchase the $30 Associate license. If you require help the CFC Office staff will be more than happy to help guide you through the process.
- All beginners require an Associate Membership before they will be allowed to fence – the Club obtains liability insurance through this license.
- Registrations must be received no later than the Wednesday of the week before class begins. To avoid disappointment early registration is suggested.
- If you do not receive this information in time to pre-register, you can contact us if there is a spot available in the class. Confirm that you will be attending and bring your forms and payment to the first class. Last minute entries are not always available.
- Requests to cancel registration and receive a full refund will be accepted up to 7:00pm one week before the classes start. Refunds are not issued after that point.

- Before class starts please refer back to the beginner class page for information on what to wear/bring to class
For Continuing Fencers:
- Please complete the CFC Registration Form (*must be completed by parent/guardian if fencer is under 18 years old*)
- Renew your CFF License for the current year
- Term fees can be processed through cash, cheque at the club or through the Calgary Fencing Club Online Store.
- Continuing Fencers must have their own Mask, Foil and Glove which can be purchased at the Club Office.
- Jacket, Lame, Plastron, Breeches and Body Wire can be rented from the club with rental fee and deposit
- Please consult the CFC office or Head Coach, Glenn Samson if you are unsure which class you should take.
